Elaine Allender
Elaine Allender is a self-taught Oxford-based artist who is inspired by the colours and textures in the landscape around her. She paints impressionist meadows, coastal scenes and funky flowers, often building up her work in many layers and always aiming for a 'loose' style which is both recognisable and semi-abstract. She has exhibited widely in the UK and her paintings are in many private collections both here and abroad, including the USA, Australia, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and the UAE.
