"With this piece of new urban art for sale I have taken a popular theme and tried to create my own twist. The Royal family are always going to be easy targets whether its the press or people trying to make a statement, so I guess that would make this a statement of my own".
"This piece involved quite a lot of work over quite a few days as it includes various layers that had to be built up gradually. As you can see from the photos there is two individual layers of canvas, the initial stretched canvas and additional pieces that were fixed on top. I used a combination of methods to create the finished look with a lot of time spent manually ‘weathering’ each of the canvas pieces before attaching them in the correct position. I was deliberately careless when adding the paint so that it had a rough and ready finish".
"I showcased this piece along with many others in two exhibitions in the Somerset / Wiltshire 2013".
