Description: An original acrylic painting by Caroline Ashwood on a 1.5" deep box canvas, no framing required, ready to hang. This painting is part of a brand new series of heavily textured artworks inspired by landscapes. This abstract expressionist artwork had many colour washes applied over a heavily textured base in Caroline's signature style creating pockets of deep saturated colour. It contains multiple neutral browns, creams, aqua, greens, gold, bronze colour washes and glazes with violet/lavender/purple accents and is highlighted with iridescent highlights. The work is very heavily textured and has sculptural qualities.
